Schiava is a grape variety of probable South
Tyrolean origin, called ‘Vernatsch’ in German.
It is one of the vines cultivated in the region for centuries and was the most widespread vine in Trentino Alto Adige’s viticultural past. Schiava Gentile Novecentosette is a wine of great personality and elegance.
It is characterised by the harmony and fragrance of fresh fruit on the nose and palate. Notes of berries, spicy hints and vanilla tickle the nose.
On the palate, great balance accompanies the entire drink; smooth and persistent.
Food pairing
goes well with Salty Meat dishes, tagliatelle with game ragout, with dumplings and ideally with a snack with friends with a board of cold cuts and cheese.
